Hand Polishing Practices on Hardened Steel Prior to Chemically Accelerated Vibratory Processing and Nickel/Chrome Plating
Guest Speaker: Bill Nebiolo, REM Chemical Inc
Hand polishing is an art seeing a large decline in knowledge reduction in the wake of offshoring and retirement bubbles. Improper polishing is driving inefficiencies into subsequent vibratory and plating operations. This presentation will overview proper techniques, belts, their characteristics, and polish sequencing, as well as review common mistakes to promote efficiency.
