Today Porsche AG took the wraps off a fastback version of its Cayenne crossover vehicle.

Dubbed the Cayenne Coupe, the new four-door features a lower roofline that drops steeply in the back. Rear seat passengers sit more than an inch lower than in the standard Cayenne.
 

Other changes include sharper body lines, an adaptive rear spoiler and broader quarter panels. A panoramic glass roof is standard. Option packages include a carbon fiber roof, lightweight 22-inch alloy wheels and high-end Alcantara interior upholstery.

The base 3.0-liter turbo V-6 generates 335 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. A range-topping 4.0-liter twin-turbo V-8, which makes 541 hp and 567 lb-ft of torque, can propel the car from zero to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds.

Pricing in the U.S. will start at $76,500. The top-end V-8 model stickers for $132,300.
