Although there are but a few shopping days left before Christmas, know that Ford is helping you out by announcing today the availability of a limited-edition 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 Heritage Edition Package.

Thanks to the Ford v Ferrari movie, race driver and engineer Ken Miles is now more widely known, and the vehicle that the Ford team has developed is a tribute to the Carroll Shelby-developed 1965 GT350 competition fastback model that Miles drove to victory at the Green Valley Raceway in Texas, making the vehicle something of an icon. (For those who saw the movie or know the history, the legendary Le Mans race occurred the following year.

Order Now!

The Mustang that is available for order at Ford dealers now—and which will go into production at the Flat Rock, Michigan, plant in early 2020, so you’re not going to be able to put the car under a tree but presumably a dealer will give you a certificate or an ornament or something for your gift giving—is painted in Wimbledon White with Guardsman Blue racing stripes.

A Few Dollars More

Price? The package is $1,965 (note the clever pricing). That’s on top of the starting MSRP for a Shelby GT350, which starts at $60,440, or the GT350R, which has a starting MSRP of $73,435.
