So, we bring you this:
Admittedly, in the U.S., Santa tends to be somewhat more, um, robust and has a beard that doesn’t look like Billy Bob Thornton’s in “Bad Santa.” (In fact, that may be Billy Bob Thornton’s German twin.)
And it is not entirely clear why the young lady is wearing angel wings.
What’s more, there is the question of that smart BRABUS electric vehicle parked in the fashion and perfume department of Galeries Lafayette in downtown Berlin.
The alleged Santa is quoted as saying, “In the local emission-free smart BRABUS electric drive I’m not only able to transport loads of presents as well as my delightful companion”—apparently the young lady is a variant of Christmas Carol—“but we can also find a parking space a whole lot faster than in the old sleigh.”
The not-so-good news for faux-Santa is that the range of his electric smart BRABUS is only about 90 miles, which means that there would be a whole lot of kids in Germany alone waiting a long, long time for their gifts.
