AMC Announces Call for Papers
2022 Program at IMTS Focuses on 3D Printing for Scale Production
Today, the Additive Manufacturing Conference announced that the call for presentations for the 2022 program is open. This year the event returns to IMTS, The International Manufacturing Technology Show, September 14-15 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
“IMTS has become a leading platform for demonstrating the latest in industrial additive manufacturing technology,” says Peter Zelinski, Program Director for the event. “Bringing the conference back here gives us the perfect opportunity to learn how 3D printing is complementing and disrupting manufacturing as a whole.”
The 2022 call for speakers reflects the breadth of uses for AM in manufacturing. Conference organizers are focused on end users that are successfully making production parts or tooling additively, researchers who are pushing the boundaries of what 3D printing can do, and the various technology and software providers who have become an integral part of the additive manufacturing ecosystem.
Additive Manufacturing Conference attendees represent companies of all shapes, sizes and specialties, ranging from multinational OEMs to independent contract machine shops, and covering a wide range of end markets and job titles. Presentations should focus on high-level technical applications and demonstrations of cutting-edge technology and services.
Speakers receive a complimentary pass to the conference, download of the proceedings after the event and an invitation to all networking activities, including the grand reception.
The deadline for papers is April 29, 2022. Abstracts can be submitted online.
About the Additive Manufacturing Conference: As the first and only event focused exclusively on additive technologies for industrial part production, the conferences take a practical, applications-based look at the machines, materials and methodologies being used to 3D print end-use tools and components. Events are designed for owners, executives and engineers at contract manufacturers, as well as OEMs involved in durable goods manufacturing.
About Additive Manufacturing: Additive Manufacturing Media is devoted to industrial applications of 3D printing technology. The focus is on the ways manufacturers are using this technology to make tooling, molds, functional prototypes and end-use production parts in a range of industry sectors.
