Bosch, Dana and Magna Execs Cited for Supplier Leadership
MEMA Triangle Awards go to Mike Mansuetti, James Kamsickas and Don Walker

For the first time in its history, the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Assn. (MEMA) has given its top Triangle Award to three executives.
The group, which represents automotive and commercial vehicle suppliers in the U.S., gave the awards to:
- Mike Mansuetti, president of Bosch’s North American operations
- James Kamsickas, chairman and CEO of Dana
- Don Walker, CEO of Magna International
Crisis Leadership
Praised for their “selfless contribution” to the supplier industry, the winners were cited for their leadership throughout the coronavirus pandemic and in helping to craft the new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, which replaced the North American Free Trade Agreement on June 1.
“This year, as we faced unprecedented challenges, the presentation of the awards is even more meaningful,” says MEMA President & CEO Bill Long. “All three of these leaders helped amplify the voice of vehicle suppliers on the national stage.”
Experience Counts
Mike Mansuetti
Mansuetti has spent more than 30 years at Bosch, including the last eight in his current position.
He has a mechanical engineering degree from Clemson University in South Carolina.
Kamsickas joined Dana in his current capacity in 2015. He previously was president and CEO of International Automotive Components for eight years and headed Lear’s Interior Systems unit.
James Kamsickas
Kamsickas has a bachelor’s degree from Central Michigan University and an MBA from Michigan State University.
During his 33-year career at Magna, Walker has served two stints as CEO with his most recent tenure starting in 2005.
Walker has a mechanical engineering degree from Waterloo University in Ontario. He is due to retire at the end of the year.
Don Walker
Since 1974, 41 people and organizations (See the full list) have earned MEMA’s Triangle award, which is given periodically to those truly deserving of it, Long says. He notes that the award was never intended as an annual honor.
The latest winners were announced at this week’s Automotive Supplier Conference, sponsored by MEMA’s Original Equipment Suppliers Assn. Other market-specific divisions include: Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Assn. Heavy Duty Manufacturers Assn. and the Association for Sustainable Manufacturing.
