Brose Names New N. America Chief
Wilm Uhlenbecker has taken over as president of Brose Groups North American unit, effective July 1.
Wilm Uhlenbecker has taken over as president of Brose Groups North American unit, effective July 1.
He succeeds Frank Lubischer, who died at the end of last year at age 56. Lubischer had held the position since joining the company from Nexteer Automotive. He previously had spent 11 years at ZF Group.
Uhlenbecker most recently was president and CEO of Akebono Brake’s North American unit. He also is a former president of Mahle Behr USA.
Brose supplies electric motors and a wide range of mechatronic components found in doors, liftgates and seats to several top-tier suppliers and such carmakers as BMW, Daimler, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Ford, General Motors, Honda and Nissan.
