Lexus Names New Chief for U.S. Operations
Toyota Motor Corp.’s Lexus brand has named David Christ, previously its vice president of sales, as general manager of U.S. automotive operations.
Christ succeeds Jeff Bracken, who has held the post for five years. Bracken will continue in an advisory capacity before retiring on Aug. 1 after 40 years with the carmaker.
Christ joined Toyota in 1994, working in several Toyota field offices. He was vice president of sales for Toyota Financial Services and vice president of U.S. sales operations for the Toyota brand before joining Lexus earlier this year.
Dejuan Ross will replace Christ as Lexus’ vice president of sales operations. Ross joined Toyota in 1995 and most recently served as general manager of Toyota's Chicago office.
