FCA Powertrain Legend Bob Lee to Retire
Bob Lee, who heads Fiat Chrysler Automobile NV’s global powertrain development, is retiring at the end of April.
Bob Lee, who heads Fiat Chrysler Automobile NV’s global powertrain development, is retiring at the end of April.
Lee is best-known for championing the return of the iconic “hemi” V-8 engine to FCA’s lineup in the U.S., and for leading development of the company’s ubiquitous Pentastar V-6 engine.
The 41-year FCA veteran has been a member of the company’s elite Group Executive Council for the past eight years. The company tells Bloomberg News it is not ready to announce Lee’s successor.
