GAC to Reveal European Plans at Paris Auto Show
China’s Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. will use next week’s Paris auto show to unveil a new model and detail its plans to enter the European market.
China’s Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. will use next week’s Paris auto show to unveil a new model and detail its plans to enter the European market.
The company’s GAC Motor unit will unveil the A10, an undisclosed vehicle type, in Paris on Tuesday, Automotive News Europe reports. It says the company also will display the electric Enverge small crossover vehicle it revealed at the Detroit auto show last January.
GAC sells vehicles in China under the Gonow and Trumpchi brands. It also exports vehicles to Africa, the Middle East, the Philippines and South America. The company has said it aims to begin selling its GS8 large SUV in the U.S. next year.
Guangzhou Automobile Group operates joint ventures in China with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles, Honda, Mitsubishi and Toyota.
