General Motors Co. has made several changes to the company’s product development leadership team, Automotive News reports. GM has confirmed the appointments, which were announced internally this week.

Matt Joshua has been named executive director of global infotainment and telematics. He will report to Dan Nicholson, vice president of global electrification, controls, software and electronics.

Rick Spina will take over Joshua’s current position as vice president of autonomous vehicle/electric vehicle commercialization and industrialization. Spina, who currently is vice president of global portfolio planning, will report to Doug Parks, vice president of autonomous and electric vehicles.

Dave Kuhl, who currently is vice president of global advanced portfolio planning, will succeed Spina. A replacement for Kuhl hasn’t been named.

In his new position, Kuhl will report directly to GM President Mark Reuss, who began overhauling the product development team last year to focus on EVs and autonomous vehicles. The latest changes are effective July 1, according to AN.
