Hyundai Motor Group has opened an innovation center in Beijing as part of the carmaker’s global network of “cradle” facilities that partner with local tech startups and others.
Hyundai Motor Group has opened an innovation center in Beijing as part of the carmaker’s global network of “cradle” facilities that partner with local tech startups and other organizations.
The Beijing site joins Hyundai Cradle center in Berlin, Silicon Valley, Tel Aviv and Seoul.
The centers work with startups, universities, government agencies and other partners on research initiatives and “disruptive” technologies. Focus areas include advanced mobility services, artificial intelligence, robotics, cybersecurity and smart cities.
