Kia Motors Corp. has released a design sketch of a Ceed-based crossover vehicle the company plans to launch later this year in Europe.

The new model will be the fourth variant in the company’s Ceed range, joining the base five-door hatchback, sports wagon and the Proceed shooting brake model. In addition to a common platform, the crossover will share engines and styling cues with its Ceed siblings.
 

Positioned between the smaller Stonic and the full-size Sportage SUV, the compact crossover will compete with the Volkswagen T-Roc.
