Lexus Confirms LC Convertible Plans

Toyota Motor Corp.’s Lexus unit says it will produce a convertible variant of its LC sports coupe in the “near future.”

The upscale marque unveiled a camouflaged prototype of the upcoming droptop at this month’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in England. A concept version of the car was presented in January at the Detroit auto show.

Performance and launch details will be announced later. The vehicle will be the first Lexus convertible since the luxury marque discontinued the IS C in 2015.
