Lincoln Navigator Adds Tech, Standard Equipment

Ford Motor Co.’s Lincoln unit is standardizing several safety systems and adding new features to the 2020 Navigator fullsize SUV.

The new equipment includes heated and cooled front seats, power running boards, wireless phone charging and Lincoln’s phone-as-a-key system. The latter allows users to lock/unlock and start the vehicle via a smartphone app without the presence of a physical key.

Lincoln’s Co-Pilot360 safety suite is now standard. The package includes automatic high-beams, blind spot monitor, lane-keeping assist, pedestrian detection, automatic emergency braking, and a rear camera with automatic washer.

The “Reserve” trim package offers a choice of three monochromatic colors: white, gray and black. Lincoln says design reflects the minimalist color trend in fashion and home decor.
