Mazda3 Tapped as China Car of the Year

Mazda Motor Corp.’s Mazda3 small car has been selected China Car of the Year by a group of 38 automotive journalists.

Earlier this month, the all-new model was named Women's World Car of the Year. The Mazda3 also took home top honors as the car of the year in Thailand.

In China, the Mazda3 sedan outscored 194 contenders for the award. The car was praised for its styling, value and performance.

Mazda has produced the Mazda3 at its Changan Mazda Automobile Co. joint venture factory since August.
