Mitsubishi Motors Corp. says its e-Evolution concept car signifies the company’s future styling and technology direction.
A teaser image of the low-slung crossover vehicle indicates coupe-like styling with a steeply sloped rear window wraparound taillights. Mitsubishi describes the e-Evolution as its “flagship” concept, combining the carmaker’s EV knowhow with artificial intelligence.
The carmaker will publicly unveil the vehicle next month at the Tokyo auto show, which the company describes as a “milestone event” in its revival efforts as part of the Renault-Nissan Alliance. Nissan Motor Co. purchased a controlling 34% stake in Mitsubishi last October.
