Porsche AG will offer Apple Inc.’s live-streaming music service in new models sold in the U.S., starting this autumn with the Taycan electric sports car.

Users will have access to more than 50 million songs without commercials, plus thousands of curated playlists and the Beats 1 radio station. The service is free for the first three years of ownership with the Taycan and will be offered free for six months on other Porsche cars, including existing models with in-vehicle internet capability.
The deal is the first automotive partnership involving Apple Music, which costs $10 per month for individual subscriptions.
Motorists can access the service directly through the car’s infotainment system without having to pair a smartphone. A special voice assistant also has been created to allow users to request songs.
