PSA Names Leclercq to Head Citroen Design

Pierre Leclercq, most recently design chief for Kia Motors Corp., will take over as head of design for PSA Group’s Citroen group on Nov. 1.
Leclercq, 46, will replace Alexandre Malval, 48, who has led Citroen design since 2012. Malval is leaving the company to become director of Daimler AG’s new advanced design studio in France.
A Belgian by birth, Leclercq did design work at Ford’s Ghia studio, BMW, Mini, Rolls-Royce and Great Wall Motors. He became Kia’s design director two years ago.
