Lamborghini SpA has reopened its renovated museum at the company’s headquarters complex in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy.
Now known as the Museo Delle Technologie (Museum of Technology), the facility features dozens of historic models, interactive displays, a driving simulator and vehicle customization system.
Among the supercars displayed are the 1960s-era 350 GT and Miura (Lamborghini’s first sports car), Espada, Countach and Diablo GT. More recent models include the Asterion, Aventador SVJ, Huracan EVO and Performante, Sesto Elemento and Urus.
There also are two student engineering workshops. One focuses on aerodynamics and structural development, and the other is geared toward carbon fiber and other lightweight materials.
The original Lamborghini Museum debuted in 2001. The opening of the renovated facility coincides with the 50th anniversary of the Miura, which is being celebrated with an owners’ road rally through Italy.
