RideCell Expands Globally
San Francisco-based RideCell Inc., which develops smartphone apps for mobility services, plans to nearly double its staff to more than 100 people in coming months as it expands to Europe and Asia.
San Francisco-based RideCell Inc., which develops smartphone apps for mobility services, plans to nearly double its staff to more than 100 people in coming months as it expands to Europe and Asia.
The company’s new RideCell EMEA GmbH subsidiary in Munich will be headed by Armin Fendrich. Paul Drysch will lead the Asia team. RideCell says it is finalizing agreements with multiple carmakers and mobility providers in both regions.
Founded in 2009 by CEO Aarjav Trivedi, RideCell provides the software for BMW AG’s ReachNow ride- and car-sharing business in the U.S. Other current customers include 3M, SouthWest Transit and several universities.
