Tesla Inc. says it delivered an any-quarter record 95,200 electric cars in April-June, more than double the volume in the same period last year.

The surge, which included 77,600 deliveries of its $39,900 Model 3 small sedan, reversed a 31% quarter-to-quarter drop in January-March. Tesla blamed the slide on logistical issues for Model 3 shipments to Europe and China.

CEO Elon Musk has predicted that Tesla will sell at least 360,000 vehicles in 2019, compared with a record 250,000 units last year.
