Toyota Motor Corp. says it will launch three electric vehicles between its namesake and Lexus brands within the next two years.

The company provided no details. But Lexus previously has said it will unveil a concept electric city car at next week’s Tokyo auto show.

Toyota predicts that half its sales volume worldwide—about 5.5 million vehicles—will be hybrids and all-electric vehicles by 2025. The carmaker is working with Mazda Motor Corp. and China’s BYD Co. on the technology.
