VW Adds Self-Leveling Wheel Caps

Volkswagen AG’s namesake brand has begun offering self-leveling wheel hub caps, which continuously align the “VW” logo upward, regardless of the wheel position.

The new alloy center caps will be available on select models, including retrofits for some older vehicles. The list includes mainstream nameplates like the Atlas, Golf, Jetta and Tiguan. The caps aren’t compatible with the high-end Phaeton (which is no longer available) or the Touareg SUV.

Rolls-Royce has offered self-leveling caps for years. More recently, BMW and several other luxury marques have added the feature.
