Nissan Rogue Adds Safety Features
As part of a mid-year update, Nissan Motor Co. is making several safety features standard and bumping the price of its Rogue Sport compact crossover vehicle.

Nissan Motor Co. is making midyear updates that add new safety features standard and increase the price of its Rogue Sport compact crossover vehicle.
The so-called 2018.5 model for the U.S. gets standard automatic emergency brakes, blind spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert. The top SL trim adds adaptive cruise control.
The price of the base front-drive Rogue Sport S and mid-level Sport SV increase $500 to $22,100 and $23,800, respectively. The mid-year Sport SL stickers for $27,200, up $900 over the initial 2018 offering. All-wheel drive is available on all trim level for an extra $1,400.
Nissan made no changes to the powertrain. All versions of the Rogue Sport are fitted with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine mated with a continuously variable transmission. The engine makes 141 hp and 147 lb-ft of torque.
