Volkswagen AG says it will update 160,400 Passat sedans sold in the U.S. and Canada to fix a flaw that could disconnect a low-beam headlamp bulb.
Slamming the hood of affected 2012-2013 models could jar the bulb loose, according to the company. Dealers will install a better bulb fitting and check the hood bumpers to make sure they keep the edge of the hood from striking the headlamp assembly.
