Delphi Technologies plc is partnering with TomTom International BV on electronic and software applications aimed at improving fuel efficiency.

Delphi's Intelligent Driving controls will integrate data from TomTom’s real-time mapping to predict changing driving conditions, including traffic flow, topography, road closures and weather.

Based on the information, various vehicle ride settings can be changed—or new routes selected—to maximize fuel efficiency and shorten commute times, according to Delphi.

And while on the subject of the exterior, there are some notable changes—a lower, remodeled hood, repositioned hood vents, new upper and lower front grilles, LED front lights, revised LED taillamps, new rear bumper and fascia.
